1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Dialectiq AI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Dialectiq AI is an AI-powered negotiation practice tool. You negotiate against simulated personas powered by large language models. The service also provides AI-generated strategy hints using Monte Carlo Tree Search analysis.

3. Not Professional Advice

The strategies, responses, and coaching provided by Dialectiq AI are for practice purposes only. They do not constitute legal, financial, employment, or professional advice. You should not rely on AI-generated negotiation strategies for real-world decisions without consulting qualified professionals.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit abusive, harmful, or offensive content.
• Attempt to access the service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without prior permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Share your account credentials with others.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of the messages you write during negotiation sessions.

Our platform: The Dialectiq AI platform, including its design, code, AI models integration, and persona definitions, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform.

6. Anonymized Data Usage

We extract anonymized outcome metadata from strategy hint results — such as persona type, strategy name, and win/loss outcome — to improve our strategy engine. This data contains no conversation text, no personal identifiers, and cannot be linked back to individual users. See our Privacy Policy (Section 6) for full details on what is collected and how it is used. You may object to this processing under GDPR Article 21 by contacting us.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can manage your subscription from the billing page or by deleting your account. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Limitation of Liability

Dialectiq AI is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings page. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
